Cocktail Recipe
Aviation is a mixed drink that combines gin, maraschino liqueur and crème de violette. This concoction has been described as "a perfect summer refresher" and is often served with a slice of lemon or lime garnish on top.
Ingredients
2 oz. Gin
1/2 oz. Maraschino liqueur
1/4 oz. Creme de Violette
3/4 oz. Lemon juice
Brandied cherry for garnish
Directions
Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
Garnish with the brandied cherry, if desired.
