    1. Make the shrub.

    2. Combine the sugar and apple cider vinegar in a jar and shake to dissolve the sugar fully. Add your peeled and sliced pear to the jar, along with the ginger. Shake well and refrigerate. Lastly, strain out the shrub and refrigerate.

    3. Prepare your liquid ingredients.

    4. Add the pomegranate juice and shrub to a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake until the outside of the cocktail shaker is frosted.

    5. Pour the contents into a chilled champagne flute.

    6. Top it off with chilled champagne to taste.
