The drink was initially created to help people combat stomach infections and other illnesses, but it has recently fallen into popularity as a refreshing alcoholic beverage.
Ingredients
2 parts Tequila
1 part Pineapple puree
1 part Tamarind syrup
2 dash Angostura bitters
Directions
Pour all ingredients into the shaker with ice.
Shake and strain on the rocks and garnish with pineapple wedge.
