Our first featured cocktail is a creation from Robert's BarKultur @roberts_barkultur of Berlin, Germany. His regular offerings of recipes via his Instagram and Facebook page have made him one of the reputable sources of cocktail inspiration.
“Kisses From The Pear” is a marvelous creation that centers on the sweet and juicy nuances of pear combined with the peppery flavor of rye whiskey and ginger syrup. On top of that is the citrusy splash of lime and orange bitters, resulting in a rather perfect mix to serve along with appetizers after a luscious meal.
Too cute, this cocktail is! You don’t have to be a Star Wars fan to appreciate this drink, mainly because anything Baby Yoda-related is adorbs.
This genius Baby Yoda cocktail is credited to Brian Heavy Muddle Mixology @heavymuddle, and one needs not to summon the Force to recreate it at home. It’s based on the classic Midori Sour but with added ingredients, such as sesame oil washed Midori, lime, and banana oleo saccharum.
Two Chicks Cocktails are sparkling ready-to-drink true canned cocktails. They’re made with real premium spirits — tequila, vodka, whiskey, and gin — and all-natural fruit and botanicals. Two Chicks Cocktails has six available natural flavors, namely: Citrus Margarita, Vodka Fizz, Paloma, Vodka CuTea, New Fashioned, and Apple Gimlet.
Two Chicks Cocktails are a great alternative if you want to serve cocktails but don’t have time to go through the elaborate preparations. It’s like the real thing! And here’s the proof: below is the recipe for an Apple Business Cocktail which is recreated using the Two Chicks Sparkling Apple Gimlet.
The holidays may be over but the cold season is just getting started. And what's a great drink to have during these frosty nights is a gin cocktail.
The Brand Meister is from Denmark-based mixologist Peter Povlsen aka Cocktail Pete @cocktailpete. He takes gin cocktails to the next level by using dry gin that’s infused with butterfly pea flower, also known as Blue Tea, which is a caffeine-free herbal tea. He then adds a little sweet citrus flavor using lemon juice and elderflower liqueur.
Sometimes it’s all about presentation. Amy Traynor aka the Moody Mixologist @moodymixologist turned a rather simple cranberry gin cocktail into a work of art using a pine tree glass and the perfect sky color. She also added ginger syrup and solstice bitters to complete the mix, resulting in a masterpiece that is Ye Merry Gentlemen.
Now if there’s ever a cocktail name that’s so perfect for what the drink looks like, our money is on the “Red Moon”. It’s by Cocktail In Paradise @cocktailinparadise, a Turkey-based barman and mixologist. It’s a simple combo of rum and peach liqueur that gives the drink its color. It’s even made prettier when garnished with some Frank grapes.
Who doesn’t love a blue cocktail? There’s something about the color that’s so easy on the eyes that you just want to drink it so fast and get a refill ASAP.
This pretty little blue drink by The Margarita Mum @the_margarita_mum is called The Aviation and is based on Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin and Maraschino, a liqueur obtained from the distillation of Marasca cherries. The result is a fantastic combo of warm spice and almond-like sweetness with a hint of alcohol burn.
Here’s another spectacle of a cocktail: the Little Snowflake. This eye-catching holiday drink is a popular choice among our alcohol-loving friends up north courtesy of Robin Wynne @djrobinjames and Miss Thing's @missthingshawaiian.
At first glance, one would think it’s one of those snow globes that mimic a snowstorm when you shake it. Presentation-wise, this is one of the most aesthetically-coherent cocktails we’ve ever featured. And it tastes just as good as it looks!
The Sauceress @the.sauceress, a festive mixologist from Greenpoint, Brooklyn, created this bourbon and cranberry sauce-based cocktail that is a modified version of one of her famous original drinks.
“All Sauced Up” is quite a fitting name for what seems like a Thanksgiving Turkey dinner inside a glass. What makes it even more delectable is the presence of Chicory Pecan Bitters which provide the aromatic flavors of coffee, chicory, pecans, and cinnamon.
The “Good Morning Clewiston” is a cocktail created by RumJava @rum_java that features RumJava Signature, a coffee-infused rum. This cocktail tastes smooth and creamy with a punch of banana. As the name suggests, it’s a great way to welcome the morning because of its coffee kick. Plus, that flower garnish is something you’d want to see early in the day.
What a great selection of cocktails to start the year right. Having that extra home time during the past year has allowed mixologists to further refine and beef up their creativity and skills. Here’s to more impressive cocktails in 2021!
