As an award-winning bartender, he has won three Iron Chef America competitions, in which he paired cocktails with Iron Chef Mario Batali, Iron Chef Jose Garces, and challenger Chef Sean McClain.
He continues to educate about the history and lore of cocktails as a National Ambassador of the United States Bartenders Guild and Associate Member of the Museum of the American Cocktail. He also runs his beverage consulting business, specializing in bartender training, product education, and cocktail creation.
Saeed "Hawk" House @cocktailsbyhawk works full-time as a social media content creator. A former bartender for 10 years working in various settings, from high-volume nightclubs to well-known craft cocktail bars in the Bay Area and Los Angeles, Saeed hopes to bring his passion for entertaining and knowledge of alcohol to his Facebook page, Cocktails by Hawk.
His eye for cocktail photography is as fine as his talent for mixing drinks. His drink photographs have appeared in print and online publications such as Variety Magazine, Forbes Magazine, Esquire, Eater, and TimeOut LA.
Hawk is also working on his NFT collection, based on drinks he made his favorite spirit brands in the wake of the Metaverse and Web3.
Known as "Thirsty Whale," Justin Sajda @thirstywhale_ is not a professional mixologist. His Instagram bio states, "Average guy. Above average cocktails." But you'd never guess it from his consistently amazing concoctions.
Sajda not only teaches his fans how to carve clear ice, but he also creates instructional videos on various drinks, always with a sense of humor.
Bartender Natasha David @natashadavidxo is a creative pillar in New York's cocktail scene. She has logged time at Maison Premiere and Mayahuel before opening her bar, which showcases her talent as both a bartender and an entrepreneur.
Nitecap, a cocktail den on Manhattan's Lower East Side, was the embodiment of Natasha’s playful approach to cocktail culture and a platform that showcased her drink-creation chops.
In her new book, Drink Lightly: A Lighter Take on Serious Cocktails, author Natasha explores her favorite approach to concoctions with 100 new recipes for low and no-alcohol drinks.
Karen Grill @kaygrill started in the hospitality industry when she began working at a beach café on the New Jersey shore at age 13. She's been in Los Angeles since 2009, where she's worked behind some of the city's most well-known bars and managed and produced large-scale events across the country.
Karen has won many cocktail competitions, including four national titles. Spirit Magazine named her one of America's Best Bartenders, and she received Zagat's '30 Under 30' award for hospitality professionals.
Karen is the Southwest Portfolio Ambassador for Collectif 1806, in charge of the Remy-Cointreau portfolio.
Katie @jiggermetimbers left her "day job" when she began bartending in Chicago. Her love of cocktails motivated her to seek mentorship behind the bar; much to her parent's dismay, she has never looked back.
She's worked at some of Chicago's most prestigious establishments, including Moneygun, Drumbar, GreenRiver, and Billy Sunday. She has won several bartending competitions, including the Midwestern Speed Rack and Heaven Hill Bartender of the Year.
She also garnered the Italicus Bar Artist of the Year award in 2018 and took home the US World Class Bartender of the Year title in 2019. Katie's inventiveness, cocktail nerdiness, and attention to detail bring High Proof's digital content and cocktail classes to life.
