This is for port wine. Port wine is a Desert wine and meant to be drank in small quantities. Also, unlike regular wine, air kills port wine so these glasses pull from the bottom of the glass where the port has not been damaged by the air. The reviews talking about the glasses being too small don’t understand port. The glasses are thin, but easy to clean with warm soapy water. Port is a fancy after dinner drink, not something to chug a bottle of. This is a great set for that. It’s a great displa…y for the end of a dinner party.

This is a SIPPER!! NOT for chugging down wine or even holding enough to be considered a whole glass of wine. I bought this to sip port and I love it! Feel very fancy and it really encourages you to slow down and just sip. It's a great looking piece for those who don't have kids or dogs (pretty fragile). I was looking for a unique set for sipping port and found it in this! Love it
