Campari and soda is one of my favorite drinks, so I bought this to make an alcohol-free version. It doesn’t taste exactly like Campari, but it is refreshing in the same way and I like it.The flavor is not very concentrated so you might not be able to dilute it very much, depending on how you like your drink.

My spritz was just like the real thing, minus the alcohol.

Disclosure: This was sent to me for free via the Vine program. I did not receive monetary compensation to write this review, just the product itself.Do you know how hard it is to try and make a Negroni out of non-alcoholic spirits? It's borderline impossible. A mixture of gin, Campari, and vermouth, it's nearly unachievable with non-alcoholic spirits. I've been trying to approximate the flavor of it for nigh on two years now with no avail. Most of the apertivo/Italian liqueurs I've tried that a…re N/A are...well to put it politely they're not good. Far from good. So when this came across my review queue on Vine, I didn't have high hopes. But I was willing to try anything in order to drink my beloved Negroni again. So I put in for it, crossed my fingers (and toes) and waited. After letting it settle (for a bit longer than I would have liked to wait but life gets in the way sometimes), I decided to try it. Here are the notes:Nose: The nose on this thing is a veritable bouquet of citrus. Heavy notes of bitter orange come through as a piquant orange blossom aroma, studded with clove aromatics on the forefront. It then smooths out into a fruity bubblegum aroma with hints of cinnamon that give it a bit of a bark-y spice to it. On the tail end is a sweetness that I can't quite place; perhaps from the sugar added but I'm not sure.Taste: The taste is...very good. Slightly watery but that's to be expected from a non-alcoholic beverage, it's pungently bitter with a bracing belt of sugar to contrast it. The bitter orange is the star in this, comprising the main body of the beverage, with the cinnamon and clove elements ending up in the finish providing accompaniment but not overwhelming the citrus. It's pleasantly mouth-puckering with a vaguely fruit punch like flavor. The rhubarb comes out in the flavor and pairs well with whatever ZING the put in it (maybe ginger?) to simulate the "burn" of alcohol. Tasty. This stuff...this is that GOOD N/A spirit. It's complex, it doesn't TRY to be a spirit but rather taste good enough as a beverage on its own while filling the niche of a spirit, and it's...fairly cheap at $40 a bottle. It drinks like a champ and I'm sure will find itself tumbling into an actually good Negroni sometime soon. So do I recommend it? Wholeheartedly. It's the piece of non alcohol I was looking for in my recipe.

This is very tasty. I sip it cold on its own in a shot glass or combine with sparkling water and dashes of whatever other things I have on hand, with alcohol or not. It's fruity but not too sweet and has that kick to it that you want. So much better than the whisky or coffee liquer substitutes I've tried -- blech. Highly recommend.

The best Campari substitute I’ve been able to find.

This is the third 'non-alcoholic' spirit I've tried. It's the best of the three, and the flavor is very complex. It's too bitter for me to drink on the rocks...but with some club soda & lime slices it's just perfect. It really feels like you're drinking an alcoholic drink! This stuff is my favorite part of 'dry january' so far. Cheers!
