This decanter is the perfect size for half a bottle of wine, which works just fine for me. If I’m drinking solo (don’t judge, wine is food) that’s plenty, and if drinking with company it’s easy enough to refill the decanter. Some reviewers say it manages to hold a full bottle, but if so, it’s full to the brim. Half a bottle leaves breathing room. If you want to always be able to decant a full bottle you may want to consider a larger decanter, but personally, I love this size.

I himmed, I hawed, and I FINALLY bought this and guess what? It works just fine! Glass is thick and sturdy enough, it is shapely and pleasant to behold, and it easily holds a bottle of wine. It's easy enough to clean (hot water, small amount of dish soap, rinse, rinse, put in dryer rack to dry, no need to use special tools).Highly recommended! Looks great on the table and, wait for it...it aerators your wine! :)

It was small but still fit the entire bottle

This has a reasonable footprint in your counter or table. Wine is good. It’s that much better using this.
