Wonderful selfish gift. Been drinking single malts since grad school in the 70s. Biophysicist and physiologist by training and have run stills & observed such in Scotland. Tickled my fancy because I have framed gas chromatography and Raman IR scans from major Japanese and Scottish products framed on a wall.The glasses are sturdy. The etched designs are not likely to degrade. I might have picked other compounds to include as decorations but have no complaints. Even the snark about EtOH - ""…ethanol, booze, hootch, firewater, grog, spirits" seems OK after the first few sips.I hand wash so don't know how they stand up to a dishwasher. Packaging is far better than expected. Foam surrounds and top and bottom plates in a sturdy cardboard box.---- Like this enough that I'm likely to purchase beer glasses and have already latched on to a set of Greenline ceramic coasters.

Christmas gift for my son

I gave these as an early Christmas gift to my brother in law who is a chemistry teacher. He absolutely loved them. They look so cool and idk what’s printed on them but he did. He washed them and used them right away.

The glasses are clearly etched and have a nice weight in the hand.
