Huge clear spheres of ice make every drink taste better. I can get good and buzzed with 1 ice ball. Refill time after time and the crystal clear ice just get a tiny smaller each time. It is a bit of a pain to make and store them, but totally worth it.

Ice ball come out crystal clear and are perfect for cooling down my whiskey without watering it down too much.Big for its purpose.. you will need fridge space and it takes 24 hours two effectively pop out two (tried cheating the system and had to restart.. they have the science down, its 24 hours). Once you remove the bottom is frozen just fill the main cavity with water and push the silicone to begin the process once again (I recommend in a sink). Silicone that forms the balls is strong and t…he bag that holds the bounty is decent. Am a little concerned that on the main unit the top separated from the bottom when froze exposing the foam… worried if water gets in there that mold will be produced… but time will tell.Very happy with this product!!

Or at least the ones who understand just how hard it is to create truly transparent ice?I am now the proud producer of completely transparent balls! 😜Shortly after it was delivered, I washed all the parts of my new HomeBuddy Clear Ice Ball Maker, filled the reservoir with (refrigerator) filtered water and inserted the mold into the reservoir as directed. Just about 24 hours after putting it into the freezer, I was absolutely thrilled to discover two perfect…ly spherical, perfectly transparent ice balls.Why should you care? (Beyond the fact that they look really cool in a drink.)So here's the idea. Spherical ice melts noticeably slower due to its smaller surface area relative to any other shape... plus, being transparent, it's solid ice, with none of the internal air bubbles which is what you see when you have a cube that's frosted/white on the inside. In fact, when your drink hits those bubbles, the speed of melting increases dramatically, and whatever it is your drinking becomes more watered down.Some of the negative reviews pointed to the "large" size of this device. I honestly thought it was pretty compact. In fact, I had tried (with only very modest success) to create transparent ice using a small styrofoam cooler. Not only did it not produce ice as perfectly clear as this, but it took about 4 days for the cubes to freeze solid. This produced solid spheres in just 24 hours. AND, compared to my small cooler, this is about half the size, so it easily fit in my freezer.I took just over half a dozen photos of my first (of two) spheres. Right out of the mold, it's perfect, and while there is a 'hint' of a seam where the two halves of the mold come together, I didn't consider it to be a big deal. The next images in my set show the sphere over the next 45 minutes or so.The final two images (me holding the remnant, and the last one with the ice-ball in our sink), were the better part of an hour after it was pulled from the freezer and removed from the mold. It's not nearly as large, or as perfectly spherical, but for a chunk of ice that's been out of the deep freeze for close to 60 minutes, it's remarkably intact. And at the very end, still perfectly clear.I waited a long time to pick up a spherical ice-ball maker since I really didn't want to find out that there was nothing special about it, but honestly... it's amazing.And I posted some thoughts (and a few of these photos) to my Facebook feed last night when I was running the experiment, and I must've been pretty convincing since I already had a couple of people inquire about getting a product link!

Bought this one due it being similar to the one The Whiskey Ball company makes at half the price, and was available. Works great and easy to use.

This makes the smoothest ice balls I have ever seen. It's a really sturdy mold with a unique design to ensure there is enough and not too much water for then ball
