New kitchen didn’t have cutting surface. Fit good and works.

Perfect size for a wedding gift.

I got this huge Boos Block but only bring it out on special occasions -- like when I need to carve a roast or a big turkey. The size is perfect for that purpose but a wee bit too large for me to use on a daily basis. This block is made of beautiful Maple Wood. The block has held up well so far, and I would recommend it.

It is well made of solid maple. I made it into a counter extension / cutting board in a travel trailer.

Hasn’t left my counter since I bought it last year. I’ve been oiling it with mineral oil every now and then and I have zero issues

So far so good. Heavy enough to stay in place but not too heavy to move

I purchased this to keep me from further damaging the 22 year old counter top in my kitchen. I've only had it a couple of weeks but so far I really like this board. I'm not new to wood cutting boards, I'm still using the one I made in shop class 46 years ago, so care and feeding of wood cutting boards is natural for me.As with any wood board, make sure to keep it clean and oiled. The Boos board was quite dry when I got it and it has really sucked up the food safe mineral oil. That's what I

I've been dreaming of a Boos Board forever. Have a small kitchen (and budget) so had to go with a 20x15x1.25 ... sure I have other cutting boards, but this was one of those luxury items that I 'wanted' rather than 'needed'. I love it.My only disappointment with this is that I thought it had that indentation for capturing meat juices on one side (as a reversible feature/function displayed on the label) which it does not have. It is still gorgeous and I am thrilled to have it!

As a professional chef, the 20x15 was perfect for my kitchen. We have Boos boards for our clients, but we know they have to be maintained. I didn’t maintain for 2-3 months and the board warped. After repeated applications of their oil, the board is flat again. And, I take the time to oil it at least weekly. Your choice is not to maintain and repurchase at an interval that reflects your usage, or buy food grade mineral oil to maintain. Simple economics at it’s best.

I was a bit worried if this is going to crack after reading some negative reviews, but so far I have not seen any issues. In fact, this cutting board is one of the strongest I have purchased in the past and I love this. Only down side is that this is a bit heavy but I think it is a trade off with the larger cutting space.I would recommend to buy their oils together. When I applied the oil, it absorbed the oil so quickly and I had to do this multiple times till the surface stopped absorbing the
