I read up on this and the idea made so much sense. I gave this as a gift and it was a hit. The glass inserts absolutely do what the instructions say. The shape of the ice keeps the whiskey cooler for longer and hardly melts at all. That way it doesn’t water down the whiskey. They LOVED this gift! The price is so reasonable for such a quality and unique set. I may give this again to someone else.

Some people say “packaging and presentation is everything “ well the first thing that was said was “wow, the box is beautiful. Giving a great 1st impression. The glasses are heavy, sturdy and have a great feel. Used them right away and they were great and the presentation was really great. The ice doesn’t melt quick and the glass stays cold. You can’t go wrong with this set. Highly recommended
