Good quality construction. Chrome coating on all metal parts. Decanter is well protected from scratches. The entire top section where the decanter rests is covered in a rubbery jacket. It not only serves the practical purpose of being a drying stand, but it also serves as a beautiful display stand between uses. It's a little pricey for what it is, but I'd recommend this product.

We use this when we have a more tannic red wine -- perfect for decanting for a short or long time. I really like the wide bottom shape -- and even with my smaller hands it is easy to pick up and swirl the wine. I clean it using distilled water and ice cubes swirled around and poured out. Only a few water spots remain, and so far I am too lazy to try to figure out how to wipe them away :) Having the holder included is fantastic -- really useful item if you are a wine drinker!

The only problem is the cleaning brush sent along with the decanter does not fit down the narrow neck. Very frustrating. I've been looking for a brush that will fit but having no luck.The decanter is beautiful at a good cost.

Didn't even realize it came with an awesome cleaning attachment that is prefect for my decanter. Highly recommend. Used to use a different style but balanxing it on a vertical stem is not Ideal.

Decanter stand is very handy and ensures that the decanter dries quickly.
