I got this because my granddaughter loves getting ice, and I didn’t care for her using her hands. She loves it and it keeps her hands off my ice.

This 6oz scooper is the perfect size for my freezer ice bucket. A great alternative to hands having to touch each ice cube. Just the right size to fit the mouth's of most glasses, cups and thermo bottles for easy ice filling.

I bought this scoop to get sugar from a big jar into smaller jars without spilling any. For that it works great. The "spout" is small enough. But what I discovered was an equally great use and that is potting indoor plants especially ones like aloe which have tendrils sticking out so close to the base of the plant. I imagine there are other great uses. This one is sturdy and it washes up nicely. Have seen no evidence of rust.

This stays in my crappy ice bucket in the freezer drawer of my fridge. I like not having to grab 3 teeny ice chunks with my bare hands like a cave person. Now I feel like a servant to George Warleggan using my handy dandy ice scoop. ...seriously, I love this scoop.

Use in the freezer for one

I mainly use it to scoop ice from our icebox, but it can also be used to scoop dry beans or dry pet food.

Perfect size to leave in the freezer or to scoop ice from a bag of ice. Love it!
