I love this brand and have been hooked from day one. It is always in my pantry and my refrigerator.
During a game of catch with my dog, my rugby ball collided with a pack of this ginger beer. It fell off the counter and slammed into the floor. Amazingly, not a single bottle cracked at all. May have lost some carbonation haha. 10 out of 10 will buy again!! Drunk proof!!
The sediment some complain of is ginger root. Each bottle of Extra contains 28 grams (as in 1 ounce) of ginger root. That's a lot and it's fantastic if you're a fan of ginger. 50 years ago you could actually taste the ginger in ginger ale. Most ginger ales available today are so watered down and mild compared to the stronger, spicier flavor of Reeds Extra Ginger Beer. This stuff is a keeper.

2 of the bottles were broken and contents spilled into the box. It arrived wet!
I really like the taste of Reed's Extra Ginger Beer. I also liked the regular ginger beer, but find this to better in taste and ingredients, ie. more ginger. HOWEVER, you can twist the bottle cap off with your hand. This is very convenient as the bottle can be easily re-sealed by simply twisting the cap back on. ANYTHING could be in your bottle of ginger beer!!! It would be better to have a screw-on cap with a break-seal feature. Otherwise, a great product.
