Used it to help dissolve miso in soup, also as a whisk for the egg drop soup as well. Great design that does the job.The only thing is that there is no gap between the tip of the muddler, meaning that I'd have to push away the three metal pieces one by one to clean them if anything gets between. This doesn't happen very often but it is the only thing I'd complain. However, this is the best I can find in the market, so I'll deal with it!Will repurchase and recommend to others who love miso soup.

Love the design! Easy to use 、Large ball measures 2 tbsp, small ball measures 1 tbsp.

So handy, good for more than just miso. I use it for mixing spice rubs, marinades etc. Well made. Very happy with it.

Love this tool for miso (although now i use it as a whisk in a pinch as well). It measures out the right amount for me (i use the small end for up to 2 cups and the large end for 4 cups - enough soup for 2 of us). The lovely thing about this tool is that I only need 1 tool to work on my miso soup - instead of having a ladle and chopsticks and mixing it like crazy (but still not succeeding). This tool dissolves the miso quickly and evenly. If you've not got one, this is a good investment. This m

It really is perfect for measuring and mixing miso into soup, and it’s equally perfect for mixing a few eggs to scramble. Better than a fork or regular whisk in fact. There are a number of Asian grocery stores where I live, but none of them carry this. Instead they carry things like large-holed strainers for lowering a scoop of miso into soup and mixing it with the hot liquid, but that still leaves you with the task of measuring it. This does both jobs.

Works as advertised. Its also a great mini-whisk!

I've made miso soup my breakfast on winter morning and love it, but putting it together is a bit more complicated than pouring a bowl of cereal. This little whisk makes it a bit easier by measuring out the proper amount-- the small end for 1 cup of dashi, the large end for two cups--and serving as a tool to dissolve it in the broth.

Excellent product to scoop up miso when maing miso soup.
