I use this scoop for replacing all the litter in my cat's litter box. I like that my hands stay clean and scoop a lot of litter. It is very sturdy and easy to clean. I imagine you could use it for scooping food or other things out of large bags as well.

This works perfect as a ice melt scoop. I purchased a second one to use in the spring to put dirt into my flower pots.

We have a 50lb ice maker and we break platic ice scoops a couple times a year. I prefer plastic over metal, so I just continue to look for a good one. I think I've found it with this one. It's much better made than any I've bought to date. It's bigger, but will fit in my gallon pitchers and I can get it in and out of my icemaker with no problem.

I use this as a scoop for plant potting mix, etc. great for heavy duty use
